Background

Background

Brian Osley lives with his mother, Georgia, in the same Acis Island District as Reese Mason. Georgia’s crippling addiction to alcohol forced Brian to raise himself for most of his life. In stark contrast to his mother’s lifestyle, Brian is obsessed with order and cleanliness.

Brian has grown accustomed to sacrificing his own happiness for his mother’s comfort. He not only maintains their tiny apartment by himself, but he routinely sleeps at one of the local homeless shelters whenever his mother invites a man to stay the night. Brian has run away from home in the past, but he has always returned home within a few days.

Psychological Evaluation

Psychological Evaluation

Brian Osley is a timid and self-conscious boy, always afraid to say or do the wrong thing. He has few acquaintances, and no close friends to speak of. Despite being in the same class as Tessa Vasquez and Reese Mason, Brian has had very little contact with them.

Brian's lack of personal attachments, close friends, and family are ideal conditions for the Ophion Foundation to appeal to his physical and psychological needs. Furthermore, his meek and compliant personality virtually guarantees a successful transition to life as a subject of Project Ithaca.

Based on Brian Osley's family history, personality, and proclivity for running away from home, he has the ideal qualities of a new subject. That said, if we manage to recruit Reese Mason for Project Ithaca, he will be superfluous.

Still, there's always the principle of "waste not, want not."
